Stretchmaster Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I get the fence to stretch across the posts?

The Stretchmaster allows you to run long lengths of fence (pic 1.1), then holds the fence taunt with the ‘crimpers' (pic 1.2) while you move the tractor forward to stretch the fence appropriately (pic 1.3). Then while the tractor and Stretchmaster are stationary and the fence is taunt, your crew then fastens the fence to the posts (pic 1.4).

How do I finish off the fence on the final post?

To finish your fence at the final post, extend the fence beyond the post a few feet, keeping the fence taunt with the Stretchmaster. Once the Stretchmaster is stationary, begin tying-off the fence (pic 2.1). Tying off the fence will require you to clip the vertical wire so you can properly wrap the fence around the post to securely tie it off.

How do I connect multiple rolls of fence?

(pic 3.1)
To connect multiple rolls of fence, you will crimp the final sections of the fence in the Stretchmaster, load a new roll of fence onto the Stretchmaster (pic 3.1) and using gripples or crimping sleeves tie-on the new roll (pic 3.2) and continue installing your fence.
